Alison & Richard
Adam photographed the classically beautiful wedding of Alison & Richard, so this time I asked him to put together his thoughts on this wedding. Here is what he said……
“When I first met Alison & Richard, I knew straight away that I wanted to be part of their day, they were so clearly in love and truly belonged together. Then they told me about their wedding day plans and I was so happy when they explained the style of day they had in mind. They were having the ceremony at the State Library on the Queensland Terrace, right on the river in Brisbane, followed by the reception on the upper deck of Goma, the Rooftop Terrace. The urban landscape photographer in me was totally excited by what I knew I could capture for them. Then I found out that Brad from Darb Bridal Couture was designing Alison’s gown, and Styled Events and Always Fabulous Flowers were teaming up to handle the event styling, giving everything its finishing touches, along with a cake by the Welsh Lady. I could hardly contain myself! Even the boys were getting into the style of the event and had arranged custom suits from The Cloakroom, to ensure they looked their best. On the day, as Alison was getting ready at the Stamford Plaza, I could see why the boys took it up a notch, because Alison and the girls looked totally stunning! I will admit the boys looked pretty dapper in their suits too. It all looked so great as the bridal party arrived in cars from A Classic Benz that I just couldn’t help but include them in some of the shots.
What followed was such a flawlessly stylish and elegant wedding, with everyone on the day relaxing and immersing themselves in the atmosphere. I guess that’s what happens when you choose such great suppliers to be part of your day, and have a couple who are some of the most loving and caring people I’ve met. Congratulations again Alison & Richard, it was a real priviledge to be chosen to capture your day, I know your future together will be as remarkable as your wedding was. “ Adam.

This was an absolutely beautiful wedding and a beautiful couple and we considered it both a privilege and pleasure to be able to share in Alison and Richard’s special day. Adam, per usual, is always a pleasure to work with and his beautiful photographs are testimony to his creative, artistic talent. The shots are both natural and stunningly beautiful, without being too “staged” or “over the top”. He has truly captured the essence of their day from beginning to end and it is obvious the happy couple have been able to relax and just enjoy each other’s company, without having to worry about what their photographer was doing. We wish them all the very best and every blessing for their future together.
