Marcus Bell is a qualified Master of Photography and has achieved this achievement four times throughout his career with the AIPP. He is the Principal Photographer of Australia’s leading photography studio “Studio Impressions” based in Brisbane.

Marcus Bell travels extensively to some of the most breathtaking places in the world and across Australia to capture the most unforgettable moments in a couples wedding day. It is his quiet, relaxed and calming nature that draws couples to hire him for their wedding.

The true essence of Marcus’ talent lies in his ability to capture the real soul of people. Stolen glances, tear- filled smiles and intimate moments play a part in every masterful piece of art he creates, work that combines a surreal beauty with a modern realism.

But it’s not just his elegant images – his easy going nature will relax even the most anxious person. A self confessed romantic with a swathe of awards to prove his technical ability, Marcus’ provides the ultimate experience for his clients.

Marcus has been consistently been awarded the highest accolades from around the globe over the past 12 years, showing his ability to constantly reach new levels year to year and to continue to be at the forefront of his craft. He has been named by the BBC as one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world. Marcus is the author of the best seller “Master’s Guide to Wedding Photography” published by Amherst Media, New York.

Accolades include being awarded the prestigious title of Australian Wedding Photographer of the Year three times, firstly in 2003, then in 2005 and most recently in 2008.  Marcus’ images have been published in more than 40 books, in over 50 countries, countless magazine covers and he has been featured in three documentaries on photography.  His wealth of experience sees him regarded throughout the world as an authority on photography. He is sort after in the industry to speak as a keynote speaker. Marcus has reached audiences into the tens of thousands in countries from the USA, Russia, Japan, Canada, England, France, Brazil, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and New Zealand. Over 300,000 unique visitors per year visit Marcus’s Studio Impressions BLOG and website per annum.

Over the years Marcus has been invited to be an Ambassador for some of the leading photography companies in the world, that include Nikon, Adobe, SanDisk, Epson, Profoto and X-rite.  Marcus is well diverse in his photographic ability, he encompasses a number of photographic disciplines that includes Portraiture and Fine Art landscape photography. His fine art work is collected in many private collections worldwide and his portraiture is sort after with an extensive clientele that includes heads of state and celebrities.
