Tuscany Wedding – Fiona & Richie

This was what I was doing in Italy.   Photographing Fiona & Richie’s Tuscany wedding.   It was beautiful.  I was privileged to be invited to be their photographer.  I photographed Fiona’s sister Kirstin’s wedding to Matthew a little while ago & it was wonderful to get to see all their family again.

The wedding was at  Villa Catureglio about an hour out of Lucca Italy.    The event coordinatore was Gio of Accent Events

There is so much to say about this wedding and this wonderful couple, but sometimes, I speak better with pictures.

Fiona & Ritchie, thanks so much for inviting me to experience such a special day.  It will always be a special memory for me.  From all of us at Studio Impressions, may your lives be filled with many special memories.

  1. Hey Marcus,…

What an impressive and very comprehensive coverage. Unbelievably well captured emotions and the compositions an framing are beyond divine. The art-presets underline and enhance even more the impressions.

I envy that shooting style,… well done.

    Kind Regrads,

  2. Oh my gosh, every single one of these photographs is a work of art! And the backdrop is to die for… Simply stunning.

  3. Marcus, what a wonderful capture of the wedding and the feeling of Tuscany, I’ve lived there and these images make we want to go back. Thanks you.

Your images are exceptionally sensitive and exquisite. Beauitiful beyond words. I can really feel the love and the amazing atmosphere and beauty of the place, I visited Lucca many years back and stayed with friends my daughter had made on a school exchange with local Lucca school as she attended Chevallum school where Italian language is taught. Magnificent countryside. I am particularly inspired as I have been invited to photograph my friends wedding in Italy in 2013. She is marrying a boy from Sicily so I am very much looking forward to the magic of the experience and your photos have wowed me immensely. I will share your blog post with my ( photographer ) friend who is the bride -to -be. She is a citizen of the world, Iraqi by birth, Swedish by Nationality and now working as a hostess for a private Arab airline…she studied her Diploma of Photography with me in 2003 at CSIT …..and we attended some talks you gave at HOTD at teh PowerHouse .Who would have dreamed where that friendship would take me 10 years later. I love the vintage hues of your images, so very Tuscan.Bellissimo
